Here are some of the questions we regulary get asked at Sunny Days, so please check to see if you're question is listed!

Q: When do i pay for my bunny or guinea pigs boarding?
A: We ask for payment on drop off, this is because some of your money will go into buying fresh vegetables and hay for your pets stay.

Q: My pets live together, will they be split up?
A: Of course not! We realise how important a bunny or guinea pig bond is and we would never consider splitting up a bonded pair for boarding.

Q: I worry about my furry, can you let me know how they are doing while i am away?
A: Yes, we offer a free text message service, where we will send you a text every couple of days (or every day if you prefer!) letting you know how they are doing, and what they have been upto. If you have access to the internet we can send you a holiday snap of your pet, and of course you can always call us.

Q:Whats this postcard thing all about?
A: We realise that sometimes it is hard for a child to leave their pet with someone else, and we know they worry. The pet postcard is waiting for them when they collect their pet, with a snapshot of them on holiday, to show them they had a good time, and its a nice keepsake for them.

Q: Can i purchase a pet photoshoot while they are boarding?
A: Yes, I do photography as a hobby but have done paid photoshoots before, i offer photoshoots for your pet, outside in the summer, but indoors all year round! They are very good value, and we give you the photos on a disk so you can get the printing done yourself as its cheaper for you.

Q: Can you look after my indoor bunny or piggy?
A: Yes we can, we have an outhouse at the side of our house where we board indoor bunnies and piggies, the space is 5 x 5 foot, and is only ever booked out by one person at a time as the pets get the whole room to themselves because we realise most indoor pets are not used to being caged up and we like to simulate that. We also heat this room at extra cost, we do not make a profit on heating costs however.

Q: My bunny or guinea lives free range in a shed, can you board her?
A: Yes, we can. You can book out our indoor accomodation which is our outhouse but unheated! This gives your pet the space they are used to, but without the heating an indoor bunny would require.

Q: Why is the price different if i require heating?
A: The outhouse is heated with a plug in heater, as it is not connected to the rest of the house, we have to charge extra because thats what it costs us. we do not make any profit from heating the outhouse.
